Including one of these about mom’s birthday is also a fun thing to put in your time capsule. Put it all in a decorative water-resistant container with instructions not to open until the baby’s 18th birthday. When he or she turns 18, they’ll be delighted to have all of those souvenirs from the day they were born.
Decorate and fill a basket full of things the new mom will need around the home. You can put in baby shampoo, burp clothes, changing pads, diapers, towels, blankets, and other things that the new mom can never have enough of. She’ll be grateful when her changing pads and diapers are there for her to use when she needs them; a new mom doesn’t have time to run to the store. Wrap the basket in cellophane and tie with a ribbon for a beautiful presentation of a thoughtful gift and the mom to be will love it.
